Across the nation, 30,000 children and adults are affected by cystic fibrosis (CF), which is a genetic respiratory and digestive disease. Currently, there is no cure, but through impressive research efforts, the median age of survival has risen to almost 37 years.

Please join Melinda by helping her raise money for this worthy cause and lets try to make that life expectancy even higher...37 is just too young.

Hello 2010 CFF Fort Lauderdale’s Finest Singles and Committee Members.

It was nice meeting everyone in person last night at the Pre-Event. A big thank you to Ali Forum and her family for hosting our Pre-Event at the new Tailgators. What a great place!

For those of you who could not make it, good news, we are going to have another Pre-Event next month to help all of our 2010 Fort Lauderdale's Finest Singles honorees and committee members get together, learn more about Cystic Fibrosis and share insight on fundraising.

South Florida CFF Raised $2 Million Dollars In 2009

Thanks to everyone’s very generous support, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation South Florida Chapter raised $2 million dollars in 2009.

That was great and it took a lot of hard work but we can and we will do better in 2010.

Currently we are in the planning process for our 20th Annual Singles gala to be held on June 26, 2010.

Leading us again this year are co-chairs, Kenny Stiles and Alison Forum along with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s, Director of Special Events~South Florida Chapter, Vicki Shahady Swain.
